Your first step is to answer the following questions:
- Do you have a business license? If not, is your business located in an unincorporated area?
- Do you have workers compensation and liability insurance?
- Will you pay at least $14.00 an hour to this employee? (depending on the county this wage requirement may fluctuate)
- Will the employee be a full-time (minimum 32 hours a week) permanent employee?
